§ 13.20.050. Payment.

  • Bills for the rates and charges as established by the city in this chapter shall be sent quarterly. All bills shall be due and received by the office of the city clerk tr., no later than the first day of the month following the close of the billing quarter. Payment received after the due date are deemed delinquent and subject to a one-time ten percent late fee. If any bills for the service of the water system remain unpaid ten days after the due date the water supply for the lot, parcel of land or premises affected shall be cut off and shall not be turned on again except in payment in full of the delinquent amount. The city shall charge a fee for providing twenty-four-hour water shutoff notice, to a consumer, which fee shall be established by city council resolution.
